Have a Wonderful Weekend!
Happy weekend! What are you up to? I’m in Miami for work, exploring the Coconut Grove neighborhood. It’s charming and warm and lovely.
Here are some links from around the internet:
We’re visiting Palm Spring on a road trip this summer and I’m obsessed with all-thing PS architecture. Or really just Palm Springs, in general. The Washington Post has a photo essay on the PS home in which Elvis spent his honeymoon. What a dream.
It’s time for Jazz Fest! I’ll be going this Sunday and first Friday. On the NYT: Jazz Fest at 50: The Stubbornness and Joy of New Orleans. (Sounds about right to me.)
I loved this story about, “Why I Take All My First Dates to Olive Garden” on Bon Appetit. Do you have a secret (or not-so-secret) favorite chain? Our friends in NOLA tried to start a “chain gang” and visit suburb chains that spoke to our childhood. But in a city with food like New Orleans, it quickly fizzled.
This “Have You Watched This Show” on the New Yorker feels appropriate for all the GOT insanity.
On L.A. Times Travel: Take a hike in Vegas before it’s too late. I did some great hiking on my last work trip to Vegas—just a few minutes outside of the strip. Get out there!
Have a lovely weekend!
