Travel-Sized Beauty Products I'm Loving Right Now

I’m constantly trying out new beauty products for my carry-on. Some are hits and quite a few are misses. Here, a list of travel-sized beauty products I’m loving right now.

Skinny & Co. Pure Beauty Travel Kit: I pretty much love anything by Skinny & Co. The products are made using fewer than five all-natural ingredients and they smell incredible. This perfect little travel kit is a great way to try the company and can easily slip into your bag. There’s a Pure Beauty Coconut Oil (so good for plane skin), a mini Raw Shampoo, a Rejuvenating Cleansing Balm & Makeup Remover, Raw Lavender Deodorant, and Peppermint Lip Balm.

OZNaturals Vitamin C Facial Serum: I use a serum on the daily, but prefer to travel with an inexpensive version in the case I leave it in a hotel or it leaks in my bag. At $17.95, this product completely delivers. It leaves my skin super hydrated, dewy, and bouncy--ideal for “plane face.”

Algenist Travel Size SPLASH Hydrating Setting Mist: I really like using a hydrating mist while on long-haul flights. It makes my skin feel refreshed in the recycled air and locks in hydration. This mist is actually a weightless, hydrating serum made with mineral-enriched sea water and sea fruit extract that are combined with Algalyte Complex to lock in moisture. A polysaccharide blend helps to form a protective, seamless layer to help seal in hydration; it can also be used to set makeup if you’re applying before landing.

Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging Shampoo and Conditioner: We often stay in AirB&Bs and it’s then that I travel with my own shampoo and conditioner. I love this brand because it delivers on moisture, but does not at all weigh down my fine hair. It’s a sulfate-free product that protects hair from color fade, daily stresses, and future damage—and it smells so good.

Sol De Janeiro’s Coco Cabana Mist: OMG, this product smells so amazing. Honestly, it’s the scent of vacation so even if I’m not traveling, I love using this to feel instantly transported to a beach. The coconut, caramel, and toasted praline spay is also perfect for a post-workout freshen-up.

Avalon Organics Wrinkle Therapy with CoQ10 & Rosehip Day Crème: If there’s a scent that I love more than coconut, it’s rose. This affordable day cream smells like a garden and is made with an ensemble of Co-Enzyme Q10, rosehip oil, and hyaluronic acid that awakens skin and counteract the visible signs of aging. I actually don’t use this a day cream as described because it doesn’t have sunscreen, but instead rub it on my always-dry arms and hands while traveling.

Byredo Gypsy Water Hair Perfume: This product is a splurge, but it’s fantastic. There’s something about being on an airplane—even if it’s for an hour-long flight—that makes my hair feel gross and makes me want to take a second shower. This spray helps with that whole situation and doesn’t leave the power residue of a dry shampoo. Unlike regular perfume, this product is designed especially for the hair to leaves strands nourished, shiny, and beautifully scented in what’s described as “fresh soil, deep forests and campfires.”
