How-To: Go the Eff to Sleep on an Airplane

Sleeping on a long-haul flight can feel impossible—especially when you’re crammed in coach. Here are my methods for falling asleep on an airplane:

-Get settled and comfy in your tiny seat.

-Queue up mediocre movie—something that won’t make you cry and something you don’t mind missing the ending of when you tipsy and doze off.

-Eat mediocre in-flight meal. (Airplane food is a luxury!)

-Pop relaxer of your choice. I love Good Day Sleep Chocolates (dessert + melatonin!) or The Nue Co. Sleep Drops.

-Order one glass of red wine. Or knock yourself out with a couple—do your thing.

-Cover face with a sleep mask and do not disturb sign.
